Halloween Party!

Last night we threw a Halloween party at my house and it was a BLAST! Here are the pictures! :)

Halloween Race in Miami Beach!

This race was so great! It had such a beautiful course and dressing up was a blast! I went as Maleficent! I added 30 mins to my time when compared to my first half marathon in Feb. this was due mostly to inconsistent training beforehand. Being that it was also a training run as part of my marathon plan I am ok with the increased time! Overall it was such a fun race with a GREAT medal!

Busiest Saturday of my Life!

Tomorrow I will be running the Miami Beach Halloween Half Marathon, taking Milo to a Howl-O-Ween (how cute is that?) adoption event, and throwing a huge Halloween party at my house! Get ready for TONS of pictures uploaded throughout the day tomorrow and some videos on my YouTube channel that I'll be uploading Sunday!

PUMPKINS!

We went pumpkin picking at Bedner's Farm Fresh Market! I felt pretty festive in my plaid shirt. We had a good time and the farm is beautiful! These are the instagram pictures. :)

Milo the Model!

As you already know, Milo and I recently had a photo shoot! I've just gotten a look at many of the pictures and I am SO pleased with them! Milo is simply adorable and for once I don't hate every picture of me! LOL  All photos were taken my Marni Bellavia Photography!

Green Paws Pet Market...WOW!

As I've already made very obvious on this blog, I am OBSESSED with my puppy. I am so obsessed with him in fact that I have set up a photoshoot for him. This photoshoot will take place tomorrow, so you can expect millions of pictures sometime within the coming weeks! I want him to be at his absolute best for the shoot, so I've been grooming him up ALL DAY! I realized about a week ago that I was out of the wipes I use to clean his ears. I had forgotten about this however until today when I needed them and needed them NOW. The small pet store near me where I originally got them had stopped carrying them so I went online and looked up other stores in the area that do. After about 6 phone calls the nearest place that had them in stock at the time was Green Paws Pet Market in Plantation. I live in Coral Springs, so this would be a 20-30 minute drive for me. This isn't all that bad, but kind of ridiculous just for wipes. I considered not getting them, but just as I was thinking about it Milo shoot his head like he has been for the last week since his ears have been dirty. This made my decision an immediate yes, I do not particularily want an entire disk of pictures of him shaking his head. So off I went with a frown on my face and a "can't believe I'm doing this" attitude. The drive was not terrible and from the moment I walked in all I could think was BOY AM I GLAD I WENT!! Upon walking in I was greeted by a heavenly herbal smell coming from dark wood shelves filled with pet products I'd never seen before. Those of you who know me well know that this is my kind of candy store! The shop owner was talking to a customer that he seemed to have known for years. This I loved! It is so hard to find that small town everybody knows everybody feel here in South Florida, it's one of the things I dislike most about living here. So from the start I was half sold. Then they not only had the ear wipes but nearly every earthbath product in existence. I have such a hard time finding any of their stuff!! Then I went to the register to pay and the shopowner asked me about why I was buying the wipes and I explained, this launched us into a discussion all about dog nutrition and again if you know me, you know that I was on cloud nine! He gave me so much valuable information about different approaches to feeding, brands, veternarians, and more! It wasn't until I got to my car with my ear wipes, a free sample and coupon for food, two informative website links, and a veternarians business card that I realized I had been in there for nearly an hour. It was such a wonderful experience, I am AMAZED! I would reccomend this store to anyone and everyone who owns a pet! They also do grooming and considering how great it smelled I'm guessing they do an awesome job! I seriously can not rave enough about Green Paws Pet Market. I wouldn't care if it was an hour away, this is for sure my new regular pet store!

Vampire Diaries Season 4 Premiere Party!

Tonight we had a party for the premiere of the fourth season of The Vampire Diaries. This show is probably my absolute favorite on television! The party was a blast and the premiere episode was AMAZING! Overall it was a great night with family and friends!

My Morning with Milo...

Today I got the day off from both classes and work. This meant I got to sleep in and enjoy the company of my puppy for much longer than usual. I took the opportunity to get out my Dad's camera and attempt to get a few nice pictures.
