Green Paws Pet Market...WOW!

As I've already made very obvious on this blog, I am OBSESSED with my puppy. I am so obsessed with him in fact that I have set up a photoshoot for him. This photoshoot will take place tomorrow, so you can expect millions of pictures sometime within the coming weeks! I want him to be at his absolute best for the shoot, so I've been grooming him up ALL DAY! I realized about a week ago that I was out of the wipes I use to clean his ears. I had forgotten about this however until today when I needed them and needed them NOW. The small pet store near me where I originally got them had stopped carrying them so I went online and looked up other stores in the area that do. After about 6 phone calls the nearest place that had them in stock at the time was Green Paws Pet Market in Plantation. I live in Coral Springs, so this would be a 20-30 minute drive for me. This isn't all that bad, but kind of ridiculous just for wipes. I considered not getting them, but just as I was thinking about it Milo shoot his head like he has been for the last week since his ears have been dirty. This made my decision an immediate yes, I do not particularily want an entire disk of pictures of him shaking his head. So off I went with a frown on my face and a "can't believe I'm doing this" attitude. The drive was not terrible and from the moment I walked in all I could think was BOY AM I GLAD I WENT!! Upon walking in I was greeted by a heavenly herbal smell coming from dark wood shelves filled with pet products I'd never seen before. Those of you who know me well know that this is my kind of candy store! The shop owner was talking to a customer that he seemed to have known for years. This I loved! It is so hard to find that small town everybody knows everybody feel here in South Florida, it's one of the things I dislike most about living here. So from the start I was half sold. Then they not only had the ear wipes but nearly every earthbath product in existence. I have such a hard time finding any of their stuff!! Then I went to the register to pay and the shopowner asked me about why I was buying the wipes and I explained, this launched us into a discussion all about dog nutrition and again if you know me, you know that I was on cloud nine! He gave me so much valuable information about different approaches to feeding, brands, veternarians, and more! It wasn't until I got to my car with my ear wipes, a free sample and coupon for food, two informative website links, and a veternarians business card that I realized I had been in there for nearly an hour. It was such a wonderful experience, I am AMAZED! I would reccomend this store to anyone and everyone who owns a pet! They also do grooming and considering how great it smelled I'm guessing they do an awesome job! I seriously can not rave enough about Green Paws Pet Market. I wouldn't care if it was an hour away, this is for sure my new regular pet store!
